Greetings!

Here we are in the last week of school before Easter vacation. So many activities are planned for this week and beyond. This week will be busy but fun, get ready!

MONDAY, MARCH 25:

Six WHITE, hard-boiled eggs are due today. Students will be dyeing their eggs to hide for our egg hunt on Wednesday, March 27.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27 are EASTER PARTIES! (K-5th students)
SURPRISE, FREE DRESS will be given to students on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27,

just in time for our party day! Please remember when students are given a free-dress day, sweat suits, sleeveless sundresses, tank tops, long skirts, camouflage/army-styled clothing, negative wording, or violent graphics on T-shirts are NOT allowed, as well as jeans with holes. Sandals nor boots are NOT safe for recess times outside and are not allowed.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27:

School will be dismissed at 3 p.m. as usual. Students will need lunch if their class did not plan it to be included in the party celebrations.

HOLY THURSDAY, MARCH 28:

School will be dismissed at noontime on this day for KINDERGARTHEN THROUGH FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS. Preschool will close at 3 p.m. on this day.

Once we return from spring break, we will hit the ground running with the kick off of our SILENT AUCTION on Saturday, April 20, at 5 p.m. with our silent auction. This portion of the auction is online. Mark your calendars now.

AUCTION RAFFLE TICKETS:

If you plan to see family members and friends during spring break, take some extra tickets; who couldn’t use more cash? First prize is $800, second prize is $400, and third prize is $200! 😊 All monies will benefit the students of Lea’s Christian School. We need more computer for our lab.

  • Monday, March 25:
    • Easter party lists should have been posted by teachers.
    • SIX WHITE, hard-boiled eggs are due at school; students will. These eggs will be dyed for the egg hunt on Wednesday.
  • Wed., March 27:
    • Easter parties in classrooms will occur in the afternoon. Students will need lunch on this day.
    • Easter egg hunting will take place at school on this day!
    • School dismissal @ 3p.m.
  • HOLY THURSDAY, MARCH 28
    • EASTER CHAPEL
    • NOON TIME DISMISSAL (K-5)
    • PRESCHOOL closes @ 3 p.m.
  • GOOD FRIDAY, MARCH 29:
    • NO SCHOOL FOR ALL
  • EASTER VACATION:
    • MONDAY, APRIL 1 – APRIL 5
  • Monday, April 8:
    • SCHOOL RESUMES
  • Saturday, April 20:
    • ONLINE SILENT AUCTION begins at 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 27:
    • LIVE AUCTION occurs in the courtyard of the  church! 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Monday, April 29:
    • NO SCHOOL ~ Teachers’ Workday
    • Teachers will be preparing purchased items from the auction for pickup on Friday, May 3.
  • Friday, May 3:
    • NOON TIME DISMISSAL: Teachers will use. The afternoon will be used to prepare for the SAT tests and plan for the program!
  • WEEK OF May 6:
    • 1st – 5th Grades Stanford 10 Achievement tests will be administered.
  • Friday, May 10:
    • Parents’ Club Meeting at 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the church. Students will receive free dress for the entire last week of school for your attendance! Refreshments and students’ work will be on display in the Parish Hall afterwards!
    • Information will be shared regarding our upcoming spring program, “A Technicolor Promise.”

AUCTION APPETIZERS ~ GOD is FAITHFUL to HIS PEOPLE!

It just keeps getting better! God has blessed us to be able to continue to offer tacos to be sold at our auction! When one door closes, another one opens! Thank you to Mr. Concepcion for making this possible. 😊 Pre-order forms were sent home last week and need to be sent back ASAP, BEFORE Easter break!

May your time with family members and friends as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and risen Savior be blessed beyond measure. May God’s angels surround and protect us as we travel or stay home. Hosanna in the highest!
