eligible for free dress on Thursday. Please remember when students
are given a free dress day, sweat clothes, tank tops, long skirts,

ALAMEDA COUNTY HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE: From the bottom of our hearts,
thank you for the outpouring of giving you demonstrated during our
food drive! Many teachers set goals with their students, and a few
have surpassed them!
Thanksgiving Feast – Tuesday, November 25: Have you come
into the classroom to see how you can contribute? If not, please
do so. We are also looking for parents to help with heating/serving
the food and with the cleaning. We could use parents help starting
at 11:00 a.m. and finishing approximately at 1:00 p.m. Please let
your child’s teacher know if we can count on you.
GIFT WRAP/COOKIE DOUGH: Unexpectedly, we received a shipment of
the “specialty” orders last Friday. If there are any
discrepancies, please see Mrs. Bland. The remainder of the tub cookie
dough orders and gift wrap items will arrive on Thursday, November
20 as planned. Teachers will be sending orders home with students.

FIRST – FOURTH GRADES ~ DAYCARE on Wednesday, November 26:
School will be dismissed at 12 noon on this day. Full-time preschoolers
and full-time kindergartners will receive daycare automatically.
However, once again, we are offering daycare to families who may
need it. Please fill out the bottom portion of this form and return
it to school by Thursday, November 20 so that adequate staffing
can be planned. You will be charged an hourly rate of $5.
You may NOT sign up for daycare afterwards and will be charged
late fees if you pick up your child after the 12:15 PM cutoff time,
as your child will automatically be placed in daycare.
