SCHOOL NEWS:

Dear Parents,

Greetings! The next three weeks of school will be very busy. Please read notes carefully and respond immediately if requests are asked. Teachers were given a list of students who may participate in free dress on Friday, March 12 and Thursday, March 18; look for reminder signs to be posted the day before.

SPELL-A-THON FUNDRAISER: Students will be receiving their prizes for their participation in the spell-a-thon fundraiser shortly! A final total will be given once all monies have been collected and prizes purchased; however, monies submitted totaled about $11,113.25!

The winners are as follows:

Grand prize: Dylan Sangani
Kindergarten: Ryan Hilliard
First grade: Jordan Robinson
Second grade: Morgan Turner
Third/Fourth grade: Marcus Green

The students who had the most sponsors from each class:

The teachers will be treating 10 students to lunch at Burger King on Monday, March 15. Congratulations to the following students for collecting pledges totaling $250 or more:

The kindergarten class will celebrate being the class who collected the most money with an ice cream party, and all students will receive their prizes by the end of the week.

Thank you parents for demonstrating to your child(ren) that hard work does pay off and that their academics matter to you! Finally, congratulations to all of our students for their hard work! Your teachers are proud of you!

A BIG THANK YOU to Mr. and Mrs. Chen for copying the school’s brochures for Mrs. Stump and Mrs. Bland.

SPAGHETTI DINNER/AUCTION ~ Saturday, March 27 at Chabot College

4 p.m. – 7p.m.

TICKETS: Tickets went home last week. Each family is required to purchase four tickets per your tuition contract. Please send money, ticket stubs, and unsold tickets in an envelope to your child’s teacher by Friday, March 12. If you need more tickets for the quilt or dinner tickets, K – parents should see Mrs. Tseng and preschool parents, Mrs. Stump.

ADVERTISEMENT: If you would like to advertise your business in our auction booklet or know of someone who would like to, the deadline to submit a form is Friday, March 12. Please see Mrs. Stump for forms.

AUCTION BOOKELTS: The auction booklets will be sent to the press for print shortly. Therefore, if you intend to donate items and would like them to be included in the booklet, please have all donations at school as soon a s possible so that teachers can catalog them.
