SCHOOL NEWS: REGISTRATION REMINDER
Monday, June 8, 2009
FREE DRESS WEEK for students whose parents attended May 1st meeting.
TUESDAY, June 10: If you purchased a yearbook, it will be given to students tomorrow afternoon. A yearbook signing has been scheduled for this day. Please look for the yearbook to come home on this day with your student.
FOURTH GRADE DINNER, Wednesday, June 11: The Fourth Grade Farewell Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the Fellowship Hall. This celebratory event is by invitation only!
We would like to thank our fourth grade parents for allowing and supporting us as we journeyed with you to this point in your children’s lives. It is only the beginning in your child’s education, but what an awesome foundation you allowed us to lay academically, emotionally, and spiritually. May the Lord bless you mightily throughout the years with your children!
PROGRAM DVDS: The DVDS were sent home with the students last week. If there are any problems, please let your child’s teacher know immediately.
SCHOOL’S PICNIC LIST: Thank you to the families that have signed up to contribute towards our picnic on Thursday. If you can help with setup, serving, and clean up, please sign up. If you signed up to bring bags of hard candy (NO CHOCOLATE), please have the bags at school by Tuesday morning. Please have the remainder of the supplies/food at school by Thursday morning.
THURSDAY, JUNE 11 is the last day of school ~ FREE DRESS FOR ALL STUDENTS! Remember that sweat clothes, long skirts, camouflage/army-styled clothing, are NOT allowed. Sandals are NOT allowed. Shoes should be safe for playground/P.E. activities, and socks are to be worn always.
THURSDAY, JUNE 11 ~ The students will be dismissed at 12:00 NOON.
DAYCARE will be available for FULL-TIME kindergartners and preschool children only.
FIRST DAY OF SUMMER SCHOOL, Monday June 29!
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for the 2009-2010 school calendar: MONDAY, August 24 with a 12-NOON dismissal time.
